We’re delighted to welcome Sam Coutinho as Safehire’s first Advisor.

Sam brings over two decades of expertise in finance, governance, and risk across the education and charity sectors. Having begun her career in corporate finance, Sam went on to become one of the most respected advisers to independent schools, multi-academy trusts, and charities,  helping boards strengthen governance, build resilience, and ensure financial and educational sustainability.

Sam’s deep understanding of governance and risk within education will be instrumental as Safehire continues to augment safer recruitment and strengthen safeguarding through advanced AI and human expertise.

We’re also quietly relieved she’ll be keeping the rest of us in check - someone has to make sure the innovators don’t get carried away.
